Saffron arrived to New Zealand in May 2021 and was purchased from 'Exmoor Stud' one of Australia's longest standing Connemara breeders, she is truly something to be proud of.
Being of fabulous type, with a good mix of bloodlines opening opportunities and further genetic outcross options for the Stud and the New Zealand heard in future.
A very pretty girl, Saffron has a lovely head and kind generous eye, a nice length of rein and is well bodied. Her movement is open and ground covering.... definitely possessing all the wonderful characteristics of the breed.
We look forward to the the future and selecting Sires to complement both genetic diversity and breed preservation.
