This Fabulous mare is a hugely valued foundation member of our broodmare band.
A stunning mover with incredible power, very correct and beautifully put together.
Gurt was Reserve Champion Studbook Mare of tour at the NZ Warmblood Classifications in 2017, and achieved a notable Merit award on 78.75%.
She received very favourable comments from German Assessor Matthias Warner and we feel very excited to have such a beautifully breed and talented mare.
Traum von Gold - Gus as we call him at home, pictured at (3 months above). At 18 months of age he measures an impressive 165cm, an upstanding chap, with phenomenal bone and 3 great paces. We are looking forward to when the time comes for him to be produced under saddle.

In August 2016 we purchased the lovely Gurteens Meryl Streep and wiith a little time up our sleeve we felt it very worth while to give Gurt some time under saddle and boy she did not disappoint. What a privilege it has been to produce this mare, never have we experienced a horse that just wants to keep giving quite like her, generous beyond measure. A stunning mover with incredible power, not forgetting ..... very correct and beautifully put together.

- Ellesmere A&P - First A&P and what a way to start, Champion Novice and Champion Open Ridding Horse. Also winning her Paced and Mannered Class, with a win for Courtney in her Rider Class. Well done girls!!
- Ashburton A&P - Friday, winning all her classes to go both Champion Novice Riding Horse and Champion Warmblood. Going forward to Supreme Paced and Mannered and Supreme Ridden.
- Canterbury A&P - 1st Novice Riding horse over 163 cm, Champion Novice Riding Horse

Griffyndor's temperament was faultless both when being handled on the ground, and under saddle. In jump training, he is showed a beautiful technique over the fences and an amazing aptitude for cross-country.
Griffyndor`s pedigree boasts international dressage and jumping bloodlines. His sire, Gymnastik Star, consistently has progeny that are winning national titles in both Australia and New Zealand. Griffyndor`s dam-sire, Graf Landau, has been the third ranking show jumping sire in Australia. Griffyndor's pedigree also carries the lines of Winterkoenig, Werther and Cor de la Bryere. |
Tragically, Griffyndor passed away at Christmas of 2013. He was competing successfully at level 5 dressage prior to his passing away peacefully in his paddock and never fulfilled his true potential.
Following in the footsteps of their lineage, Griffyndor's offspring are now coming to the fore in the competition arena across the board and proving to be upper level Multi disciplined athlete's.

Gurt's likeness to her Dams sire is undeniable.- Weltnader is by the legendry Weltmeyer what more can be said …. He is a legend.!!
He was the 1986 winner of the stallion licensing in Verden, and the 1987 winner of the stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf. In the same year Weltmeyer also won the three-year-old stallions classification at the Federal Championships of German Riding Horses in Warendorf. In 1988 he was honored in Verden as best stallion of his age-group and awarded with the "Freiherr von Stenglin-Prize". One year later he became DLG Champion 1989 in Frankfurt. And last but not least he became "Hanoverian Stallion of the Year" in 1998.
