Wb Anya is a stunning young mare, her movement is open and ground covering, her temperament is exceptional. She is well balanced, correct of type and having been specifically retained as a broodmare for the Stud she is certainly one to watch as her progeny come to the fore.
The dam of two filly foals to date, between which Anya enjoying nanny duties and has been a great prodigy for her young wards.

CONNEMARA INSPECTION TOUR 2017
During the 2017 Connemara Inspection tour Anya achieved Class 1 status with an impressive score and lovely comments, for 4th highest placed mare of the tour. 19 mares were presented from both the North and South Islands, so this was a very pleasing result indeed.
When the universe intervenes .... Very early on a rather foggy morning in April 2016, I was awoken to the chorus of our overly excited equine friends. It so happens that I had omitted turning on our electric fence unit 2 days prior! Taking full advantage of the situation I found a happy young Stallion down the back paddock, veiled in mist, having a rendezvous with a very obliging bay Connemara Mare! A cross we had planned but had accepted was not going to be.
10.30 pm on March 16th 2017 Wembleybrook Swansong was born and is the very pleasing, albeit unplanned, yet delightful result!
The 2nd of 2 purebred fillies to ever be sired by Wembleybrook Sterling ….... for this I will be forever grateful, well done young man and thank you!!
